Over 130 Year 10 students and 30 staff took part in our sponsored walk to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. It was a hot afternoon to begin with so drinks, hats and sun cream were in full use. A little bit of rain later on didn’t stop the group walking the full 6.5 miles through the beautiful Combs Valley. Their efforts were rewarded at the end with a barbeque run by staff back at school.
So far our students have raised over £2,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust which is fantastic. This wonderful charity raises money to build and equip specialist units for young people suffering with cancer.
