Recognising student excellence with our Rewards Scheme

Our school rewards scheme is called ‘Make a Difference’ and aims to recognise and incentivise excellent conduct and hard work. Just before the Christmas break, we held a special assembly to acknowledge students’ fantastic behaviour. We had over 300 students receiving a reward which was brilliant. All students who had kept all of their positive points were given a special certificate and were eligible for a go on the rewards ‘wheel’ to win a prize.

During the assembly, we also recognised the students who had achieved the most ‘Make a Difference’ points for that term with bronze, silver and gold awards. Points are awarded by teachers to acknowledge students who have gone above and beyond in the classroom. For Year 10, the winners were Rachel C, Archie H and Efan L. They received ‘Make a Difference’ certificates and some delicious chocolate treats.
