Students deliver donations to local foodbank

Our amazing students and staff went to deliver a huge donation to the Co-op last week for the Chapel Good Neighbour Foodbank. This fantastic collection of items will be used to create festive food hampers to help local families over the holiday period. The charity were overwhelmed by the generous contributions.

The donations were organised in school by Mrs Keeble’s group who set up a “Reverse Advent Calendar” where each tutor group picked an item to collect. The students then did a mass collection of all the contributions and put them together ready for the foodbank.

A big thank you to all the staff and students who donated. We know these items will really help the local community during what is a difficult time for many families.

Parents can keep an eye on the Chapel Good Neighbour Facebook Page for posts on where and when to get help over the Christmas break.
