Our GCSE Hospitality and Catering students have once again received a free delivery of fish as part of the ‘Fish in School Hero’ programme. This time around the parcel contained salmon, and our Year 10 students are planning to make the most of this by creating some delicious quiches and fish cakes.
The ‘Fish in School’ project is keen to ensure that young people across the country get to experience cooking and eating fish at secondary school. These special deliveries mean that our students will get to use ingredients which they might not otherwise have access to due to costs and availability. Lessons will also look at where fish comes from, sustainability and nutrition. A big thank you to the Fish in School Hero programme.
