As well as this, every member of staff was offered the opportunity to nominate a student for a 'staff special mention award'. These students did not meet the criteria for rewards, but were nevertheless recognised for working hard despite challenges in or outside of school. These were students who had really improved their effort or engagement or students who had 'Made A Difference' to their local or school community. An amazing 14 students received an Easter treat after being nominated!
This term's rewards assemblies were combined with a farewell to Mr Grieves. Students had worked incredibly hard creating banners, writing their own poems, performing music, and showing how much of a difference Mr Grieves made to them, their lives and school.
Our Easter treats were kindly donated by High Peak Comps and Morrisons. Without their support we wouldn't be able to reward our fantastic students, so thank you for the fabulous chocolate eggs. If you would like to sponsor our rewards, please contact nwhyte@chapelhigh.org.uk.
