This year ‘Children’s Mental Health Week’ will take place on 9th – 15th February and the theme is 'This is My Place'. The aim of the week is to celebrate individual identity and develop a sense of belonging to school and the wider community, so that everyone feels happy, safe and valued. We will be marking this event in school with a number of activities including a wellbeing assembly, classroom competitions and a “My Identity Non-Uniform Day” on Friday 13th February. Students can contribute £1 donation to the Young Minds mental health charity in exchange for wearing non-uniform. We would like to encourage students to celebrate their individual identity through clothing – they could include something from their heritage, religion, or clubs that they belong to, if they wish.
